Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor - 3.5L GTDI, 3.5L Ti-VCT: Installation

All vehicles 

• 1.
  
  Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.

• 2.
  
  Install the CKP sensor and bolt.
  • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

• 3.
  
  Install the rubber grommet cover.

• 4.
  
  Install the heat shield and the nut and bolt.
  • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

• 5.
  
  After completing the repairs, use the scan tool to perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions.

Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine 

• 6.
  
  Install the Turbocharger - LH. REFER to FUEL CHARGING AND CONTROLS - TURBOCHARGER - 3.5L GTDI .
