Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 3.5L GTDI: Installation

1. 1.
   
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   • Install new gasket seals and O-ring seals.
   • Add the correct amount of clean PAG oil to the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Oil Adding .
   • Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .

1. 2.
   
   Tighten the A/C compressor bolts and nut in the sequence shown in illustration.
   • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
