Compressor to Condenser Discharge Line - 2.0L GTDI: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS

1. 1.
   
   Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .

   Remove the front bumper cover. REFER to Bumpers - Front.

1. 3.
   
   Remove the A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
   • Remove the compressor to discharge line bracket bolt.
     • Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
   • Remove the A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
     • Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
     • Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.

   Remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line.
   • Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector.
   • Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
     • Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
     • Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
