Compressor to Condenser Discharge Line - 3.5L GTDI: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS

1. 1.
   
   Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .

   Remove the front bumper cover. REFER to Bumpers , Front Bumper Cover.

   Remove the Air Conditioning A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.

   1. 1.
      
      Remove the compressor to discharge line bracket bolt.
      • Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).

   1. 2.
      
      Remove the Air Conditioning A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
      • Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
      • Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

   Remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line.

   1. 1.
      
      Disconnect the Air Conditioning A/C pressure transducer electrical connector.

   1. 2.
      
      Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
      • Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
      • Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
