Safety Belt Twisted at the Safety Belt Guide
General Procedure
NOTE:
These procedures apply to both wire-formed and stamped D-ring designs.
- 1.
If necessary, remove the B, C or D-pillar trim panel. Refer to B-Pillar Trim Panel , C-Pillar Trim Panel - Without Inflatable Safety Belts or C-Pillar Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts or D-Pillar Trim Panel .
- 2.
Grasp the safety belt webbing at the D-ring and fold the twisted portion of the belt webbing over itself.
NOTE:
Typical D-ring shown in illustration, others similar.
- 3.
Feed the folded portion of the safety belt webbing through the D-ring to remove the twist from the belt webbing.
