Safety Belt Anchor and Pretensioner: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING: All seatbelt components must be inspected and corrected as part of any collision repair. Inspect all seatbelt components as prescribed by Seatbelt Procedure After a Collision found in GENERAL PROCEDURES  of this service information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in incorrect operation of the seatbelt system and increase the risk of serious personal injury or death in a crash.
WARNING: Never disassemble or tamper with seatbelt deployable components, including pretensioners, load limiters and inflators. Never back probe deployable device electrical connectors. Tampering or back probing may cause an accidental deployment and result in personal injury or death.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

    Depower the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). REFER to Supplemental Restraint System - With Intelligent Access (IA) or REFER to Supplemental Restraint System - Without Intelligent Access (IA).

      Flat-bladed screwdriver.

    Remove the B-pillar trim panel. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation , Removal.
