PINPOINT TEST I : The Odometer Is Inoperative
- I1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the PCM KOEO self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - SYMPTOM CHARTS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) . No GO to I2. - I2 CHECK FOR CORRUPTED NVM
- Ignition ON.
- Observe the message center display area.
Does the odometer display ERROR?
Yes Refer to IPC Hardware Testing . No GO to I3. - I3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes For DTC U0100:00, GO to Pinpoint Test AR . For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No INSTALL a new PCM. REFER to Electronic Engine Controls .
