Window Regulator and Motor - Rear Door: Removal

1. 1.
   
   Remove the door speaker. REFER to Information and Entertainment Systems Premium .

   Position aside the water shield.

1. 3.
   
   Install the window control switch and position the door window glass to access the glass-to-regulator clamp locking tab.

1. 4.
   
   Using a suitable tool, push the glass-to-regulator clamp locking tab inward then gently lift the glass upward slightly to release the glass from the regulator clamp.
   • To install, gently push glass down into the clamp until an audible click is heard, indicating the glass has seated correctly into the glass clamp.

1. 5.
   
   Tape the window glass in the full UP position.

1. 6.
   
   Disconnect the window motor electrical connector.

1. 7.
   
   Remove the window regulator in the following sequence:
   • Loosen the top window regulator bolt.
     • To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
   • Remove the 2 window regulator nuts.
     • To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
   • Remove the window regulator.
