Normal Operations and Fault Conditions
The LTM controls the power liftgate chime. To activate the chime, the LTM supplies a fluctuating AC voltage to the chime.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B236A | Chime Output Circuit Open | A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects greater than 2.26 volts on the chime circuits when the chime is not activated. |
| B2903 | Chime Output Circuit Short to Battery | A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects greater than 2.34 volts on the chime circuits for more than 500 milliseconds when the chime is not activated. |
| B2940 | Chime Output Circuit Short to Ground | A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects less than 0.82 volt on the chime circuits when the chime is activated. |
