Side Obstacle Detection (SOD) Module: Installation

  1. 1.

    Install the SOD-L or SOD-R.

    1. 1.

      Install the SOD-L or SOD-R bolt.
      • Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

    1. 2.

      Connect the electrical connector.

  1. 2.

    Install the rear bumper cover. REFER to Bumpers .

  1. 3.

    If installing a new module, download the module configuration information from the scan tool to the new SOD-L or SOD-R by following the scan tool on screen instructions.
