Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
SSE is an On/Off solenoid. The PCM controls current flow through the solenoid ground input.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| P0770 | Shift Solenoid "E" | Open, short to power or short to ground in the solenoid or wire harness. |
| P0773 | Shift Solenoid "E" Electrical | Open or short to ground in the solenoid or wire harness. |
| P0774 | Shift Solenoid "E" Intermittent | Intermittent circuit in the solenoid or wiring harness open, short to ground or shorted to power. |

- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals
