Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The PCA (LPC) solenoid is a VFS. The PCA is an electro-hydraulic actuator combining a solenoid and a regulating valve. It supplies the pressure which regulates transmission line pressure. This is done by producing resisting forces to the main regulator and line modulator circuits. These 2 pressures control clutch application pressures.

| P0962 | Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Control Circuit Low | Short to ground in solenoid or solenoid circuitry. |
| P0963 | Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Control Circuit High | Short to power in solenoid circuitry. |
