Transmission Support Insulator - 3.5L Ti-VCT: Removal

1. 1.
   
   With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Jacking and Lifting .

1. 2.
   
   Remove the battery tray. REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .

1. 3.
   
   Remove the upper intake manifold. refer to ENGINE - 3.5L GTDI .

1. 4.
   
   Install 303-1245 on the LH cylinder head.

1. 5.
   
   Install 303-F072 and 303-1454 and support the engine and transmission.

   Remove the 2 lower transmission support insulator bolts.

NOTE: Do not loosen the center bolt or damage to the transmission support insulator will occur.
1. 7.
   Remove the 2 upper transmission support insulator bolts.

   Remove the 3 transmission support insulator bracket nuts and the transmission support insulator bracket bolt then remove the transmission support insulator assembly.
