Transmission Support Insulator - 3.5L Ti-VCT: Installation

1. 1.
   
   Clean the transmission support insulator bolts using a wire brush and apply new threadlock to the threads.

1. 2.
   
   Install the transmission support insulator and the 2 upper transmission support insulator bolts.
   • Tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).

1. 3.
   
   Install the 2 lower transmission support insulator bolts.
   • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

   Install the transmission support insulator bracket bolt and the 3 transmission support insulator bracket nuts.
   • Tighten the bolt to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
   • Tighten the nuts to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).

   Remove 303-F072 and 303-1454.

   Remove 303-1245.

   Install the upper intake manifold. refer to ENGINE - 3.5L GTDI .

   Install the battery tray. REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .
