Transmission Support Insulator: Removal

  1. 1.

    Remove the battery tray. REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .
    NOTE: Keep the TCM electrical connector straight when disconnecting it or damage to the connector terminals can occur.

  1. 2.
    Slide the lock tab up and disconnect the TCM electrical connector.

  1. 3.

    Remove the wiring and the vacuum retainers from the TCM bracket.

  1. 4.

    Remove the transmission support insulator nuts and the TCM bracket bolt and remove the TCM support bracket.

  1. 5.

    Remove the cowl panel. REFER to Front End Body Panels .

  1. 6.

    Install 303-F072 and support the engine and transmission.

  1. 7.

    Remove the transmission support insulator nuts, the transmission support insulator bolt and the transmission support insulator.
