Transmission Support Insulator - Anti-Roll: Installation

  1. 1.

    Clean the roll restrictor through bolts using a wire brush and apply Motorcraft ® Threadlock and Sealer to the threads.
    NOTE: If the holes do not line up, check for exhaust bind-up. Relieve exhaust bind-up by moving exhaust vertically and forward and rearward. If the holes still do not line up mount neutralization will have to be performed, REFER to Engine System General Information .

  1. 2.
    Position the roll restrictor and hand start the roll restrictor through bolts.

  1. 3.

    Tighten the roll restrictor through bolts.
    • Torque: 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

  1. 4.

    Install the engine undershield and the retainers.
