Crankshaft Front Seal: Removal

1.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Jacking and Lifting , Lifting Points.

2.

Remove the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Crankshaft Pulley .

3.

Using 303-409 T92C-6700-CH, remove and discard the crankshaft front seal.

Inspect the crankshaft seal bore in the front cover for any damage or casting imperfections that may effect the crank seal outer diameter sealing. Repair/replace as necessary.
