Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCS (Grade Assist) is a momentary contact switch located on the selector lever knob. Pressing the Grade Assist switch will engage or disengage the Grade Assist function of the transmission. When the Grade Assist is engaged, a Grade Assist icon will illuminate on the IPC. Each time the ignition switch is cycled, the PCM will disengage the Grade Assist operation regardless of the switch position the last time the engine was running.

- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals.
