Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Jacking and Lifting
- 2.
Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan .
- 3.
Remove the 2 bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.- Discard the gasket.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
NOTE:
A new gasket must be installed.
