Valve Seals: Removal

NOTE: During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan can cause engine failure.

1.

Remove the valve spring. Refer to Valve Springs .

2.

Remove and discard the valve seal.
- 1.
  
  Position 303-468 T94P-6510-AH and 307-005 T59L-100-B over the seal.
- 2.
  
  Pull up on 307-005 T59L-100-B and 303-468 T94P-6510-AH and remove the seal.
