Power-Stow Seat Motor: Installation

NOTE: On the first press of the seat control switch after the seat is repaired and a new system component has been installed, the PFSM moves the seat to the home position (seat folded and latched to the floor) before continuing to move to the selected seat position. This allows the PFSM to relearn the position of the affected motors.

1.

Install the pivot tube assembly with stow motors. Install the 8 cushion frame-to-pivot tube assembly bolts.
- Tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

NOTE: Lower anchors and tethers for children and child safety seat tether anchor must be accessible through the cushion cover.

Secure all cushion cover retainers to the cushion frame.

Install the 2 load floor panels and secure the retainers.

4.

Install the 4 load floor panel screws on each side at the back of the cushions.

5.

Connect the main feed electrical connector to the LH load floor flapper panel.

6.

Attach the 2 wire harness retainers and connect the 2 electrical connectors to the RH load floor flapper panel.

7.

Install the LH and RH outboard pivot covers and secure the clips.

8.

Install the third row seat. Refer to Seat .
