The alarm system does not activate from an unauthorized entry at a door Door ajar input DIAGNOSE the courtesy lamps always on. REFER to INTERIOR LIGHTING .
The alarm system does not activate from an unauthorized entry at the liftgate Liftgate ajar input
Wiring, terminals or connectors
Liftgate anti-theft inhibit switch (part of the lock cylinder)
BCM
For vehicles without the police package option, DIAGNOSE the courtesy lamps always on. REFER to INTERIOR LIGHTING .
For vehicles with the police package option, GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
The alarm system activates when opening the liftgate with a correctly cut key Wiring, terminals or connectors
Liftgate anti-theft inhibit switch (part of the lock cylinder)

GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The alarm system does not arm/no turn signal flash confirmation Door ajar input
Hood ajar input
Liftgate ajar input
Turn signals
Keyless entry keypad concern
RKE transmitter concern

GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
No horn output during alarm activation Horn DIAGNOSE the inoperative horn. REFER to HORN SYSTEM .
No turn signal flash during alarm activation Turn signals DIAGNOSE the inoperative turn signal. REFER to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .
No courtesy lamp flash during alarm activation Courtesy lamps DIAGNOSE the inoperative courtesy lamps. Refer to INTERIOR LIGHTING .
False alarm activation Door ajar input

Panic button pressed on an RKE transmitter
A valid PATS key read is NOT received when the ignition transitions to RUN
An intermittent fault exists. MONITOR the BCM alarm event PIDs to identify and isolate the cause of the last alarm activation.
