Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Valve - 2.0L GTDI: Removal

WARNING:
Always disconnect the battery ground cable at the battery when working on an evaporative emission (EVAP) system or fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
- 1.
Detach the hose retainer and disconnect the 2 vapor tube quick connect couplings. REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 1 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 2 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 5.
- 2.
Detach the hose retainer and disconnect the vapor tube quick connect coupling. REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 1 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 2 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 5.
- 3.
Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector and the vapor quick connect coupling and remove fastener. REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 1 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 2 or REFER to Fuel System - General Information , Disconnect - Type 5.- 1.
To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
