P0365 - CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR B CIRCUIT (BANK 1) - DTC CHART

Description: This DTC sets when the CMP12 circuit signal cannot be detected. For additional camshaft position (CMP) sensor location information, refer to ENGINE CONTROL COMPONENTS .
Possible Causes: CMP12 circuit open CMP12 circuit short to ground CMP12 circuit short to voltage SIGRTN circuit open VRSRTN circuit open CMP12 circuit shorted to other CMP circuits (2 or more CMP sensor systems) Damaged camshaft position bank 1 sensor 2 (CMP12) shielding CMP12 sensor incorrectly installed Damaged CMP12 sensor
Diagnostic Aids: Harness routing, harness alterations, incorrect shielding, or electrical interference from other systems may have an intermittent impact on the CMP signal.
