Roof Opening Panel Motor - Sliding Front Panel: Removal

• the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
• the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
• the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
• a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
• a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
• a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.

1. 1.
   
   Position the front sliding glass panel to the CLOSED position and the power shade to the full OPEN position.

   Remove both A-pillar trim panels. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation .

   Remove both B-pillar trim panels. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation .

1. 4.
   
   Remove both sun visor clip retaining screws and remove both sun visor clips.

1. 5.
   
   Remove both sun visor assemblies.
   • Remove sun visor screw cover.
   • Remove both sun visor screws.
   NOTE: The sun visor electrical connector is glued to the top of the headliner. Position the front of the headliner down to access the sun visor electrical connector.
   • Disconnect sun visor electrical connector and remove the sun visor.

   Lower the front portion of the headliner and block with a suitable material.

1. 7.
   
   Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the 3 motor screws and the roof opening panel front sliding glass panel motor.
