The AC Power Point LED is Never On

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The DC /AC inverter receives 12 volts DC from the BJB and the BCM-B and is wired to chassis ground. The incoming DC is internally converted to 60 Hz 110 volts AC that is outputted to the AC outlet. If a fault in the system is detected, the LED flashes when the ignition is ON. The LED is continuously illuminated if the system is operating correctly when the ignition is ON. The DC /AC inverter supplies 12 volts DC and ground to the LED along two circuits.

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

• Inspect BJB fuse 17 (40A)
• Inspect BCM-B fuse 32 (15A)
• Inspect for a damaged AC outlet
