Alternating Current (AC) Power Point: Removal

WARNING: Disconnect the 12 volt battery before servicing the direct current to alternating current (DC-AC) inverter or alternating current (AC) powerpoint to prevent the risk of high voltage shock. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

  1. 1.

    Disconnect the battery. REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .

  1. 2.

    Using a non-marring tool, gently pry the upper portion of the floor console rear trim panel to release the 4 retaining clips. REFER to Instrument Panel and Console .

  1. 3.

    Disconnect the AC power point electrical connector.

  1. 4.

    Press the AC power point retainers inward and remove the AC power point.
