Direct Current Alternating Current (DC AC) Inverter: Removal

WARNING: Disconnect the 12 volt battery before servicing the direct current to alternating current (DC-AC) inverter or alternating current (AC) powerpoint to prevent the risk of high voltage shock. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

1. 1.
   
   Disconnect the battery. REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .

   Remove the RH instrument panel side trim panel, instrument panel insulator and the glove compartment close out. REFER to Instrument Panel and Console .

1. 3.
   
   Remove the 3 bolts and position the RFA module bracket aside.

   1. 1.
      
      To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

1. 4.
   
   Disconnect the 2 DC /AC inverter electrical connectors.

1. 5.
   
   Remove the 3 nuts and the DC /AC inverter.

   1. 1.
      
      To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
