P0141 - O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2) - DTC Chart

P0141 - O2 HEATER CIRCUIT (BANK 1, SENSOR 2) - DTC CHART

Description:  This DTC sets when an open or short circuit is detected or the heated oxygen sensor bank 1, sensor 2 (HO2S12) heater current draw exceeds a calibrated limit.
Possible Causes: 
  • HTR12 circuit open
  • HTR12 circuit short to voltage
  • VPWR circuit open
  • GND circuit open
  • Low battery voltage
  • Water in the harness connector
  • Corrosion
  • Incorrect connections
  • Damaged HO2S12 heater
Diagnostic Aids:  Inspect the connectors for signs of damage, water intrusion or corrosion.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test DW .
