P2301 - IGNITION COIL A PRIMARY CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH - DTC CHART

Description: This DTC sets when there is a short to voltage in the COP1 (COP) or CDA (coil pack) circuit.
Possible Causes: COP1 circuit short to voltage (COP) CDA circuit short to voltage (coil pack) Damaged COP (if equipped) Damaged coil pack (if equipped) Damaged ignition coil wiring harness
Diagnostic Aids:
Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
Fiesta 1.6L TiVCT	GO to Pinpoint Test JE .
All others	GO to Pinpoint Test JF .
