Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - 2.0L GTDI: Removal

• 1.
  
  Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the PMI procedure. REFER to Module Configuration .

• 2.
  
  Remove the cowl panel. REFER to Front End Body Panels .

• 3.
  
  Disconnect the 2 PCM electrical connectors.
  • Detach the wiring harness retainer from the cowl.

  Remove the 2 nuts and the PCM and bracket assembly.

  Remove the 4 bolts and remove the PCM from the bracket.
