Removal And Installation

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable, REFER to Battery, Mounting and Cables .
- 2.
Remove the ACL assembly and the ACL outlet pipe, REFER to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering .
- 7.NOTE: Inspect the starter drive gear and the flexplate ring gear, refer to Starter Motor Drive Gear and Flywheel Ring Gear Inspection .
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
