Diagnostic Overview
Refer to Message Center , Cruise Control Message Center Indicator.

On adaptive cruise control vehicles, if the adaptive cruise control follow mode display message is missing for less than 300 milliseconds, the IPC defaults the cruise control message center indicator to the last indication state (on or off) based upon the last know good message received. If the adaptive cruise control follow mode display message is missing or if the data is deemed invalid by the IPC for 300 milliseconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0104:00 in continuous memory and defaults the cruise control indicator off.
