PINPOINT TEST DD : The Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Gauge Is Inoperative
- DD1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No GO to DD2. - DD2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the PCM self-test.
Are any 4WD DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to Electronic Engine Controls . For all other DTCs, REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - SYMPTOM CHARTS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) . No GO to DD3. - DD3 CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
- On the optional IPC, in the display mode menu, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right to display the 4WD gauge.
- On the base IPC, in the Information display mode, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the 4WD gauge.
Does the 4WD gauge display?
Yes The 4WD gauge is operating correctly at this time. The display mode was not set to the correct display mode. No Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .
