Removal And Installation: Armrest: Removal

NOTE: For parts identification and location, Refer to Seat - Exploded View .

1.

Remove the 2 center head restraint guide sleeves.

2.

Open the backrest cover.

  Detach the backrest cover J-clips at the bottom of the seat backrest.
1. 2.
  
  Remove the 4 pin-type retainers.
1. 3.
  
  Detach the 4 backrest cover inner J-clips attached to the hard back panel.
1. 4.
  
  Detach the hook-and-loop strips.

Pull the backrest cover out.

Remove the armrest.
1. 1.
  
  Remove the 3 screws.
1. 2.
  
  Remove the 3 armrest-to-backrest frame bolts.
  - To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
1. 3.
  
  Detach the 2 retaining clips.
1. 4.
  
  Pull out at the front and remove the armrest assembly.
