Pinpoint Test N : U0151:87
- N1 VERIFY THE CUSTOMER CONCERN
- Ignition ON.
- Verify there is an observable symptom present.
Is an observable symptom present?
Yes GO to N2. No The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to heavy network traffic or an intermittent fault condition. - N2 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
- Using a scan tool, perform a network test
Does the RCM pass the network test?
Yes GO to N3. No REFER to REFER to Module Communications Network . - N3 RETRIEVE THE DTCs FROM THE RCM SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the RCM self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to REFER to Supplemental Restraint System . No GO to N4. - N4 RECHECK THE IPM-A DTCs
- Clear the DTCs from the IPM-A.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Check the IPM-A DTCs.
Is DTC U0151:87 recorded?
Yes GO to N5. No The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to heavy network traffic or an intermittent fault condition. - N5 CHECK FOR DTC U0151:00 SET IN OTHER MODULES
- Clear all DTCs.
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Retrieve the CMDTCs from all modules.
Is DTC U0151:00 set in the IPC ?
Yes INSTALL a new RCM. REFER to Supplemental Restraint System . No INSTALL a new interior auto-dimming mirror. Refer to Interior Rear View Mirror .
