Universal Serial Bus (USB) Cable - Upper: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to SERVICE INFORMATION .

1. 1.
   
   All vehicles. Remove the FCDIM Refer to Front Controls/Display Interface Module (FCDIM) .

1. 2.
   
   All vehicles except police. Position the RF seat fully rearward and fully reclined.

1. 3.
   
   All vehicles except police. Remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

   1. 1.
      
      Pull outward to release the 12 clips.

   All vehicles except police. Disconnect the upper USB cable from the lower USB cable.

1. 5.
   
   All vehicles except police. Remove the upper USB cable.

   1. 1.
      
      Disconnect the 3 pin-type retainers.

NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
1. 6.
   Police vehicles only. Remove the RH and LH lower instrument panel side panels.

   Police vehicles only. Remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

   1. 1.
      
      Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.

   1. 2.
      
      To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

   Police vehicles only. Remove the upper USB cable following the routing shown below.

      Disconnect the 3 pin-type retainers.
