PINPOINT TEST AG : The Outside Air Temperature Display Is Inoperative or Incorrect
- AG1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes For DTC U0140:00, GO to Pinpoint Test AV . For DTC U0424:82, GO to Pinpoint Test BC . For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No GO to AG2. - AG2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE HVAC MODULE SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the HVAC module self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes For EMTC, REFER to Climate Control EMTC . For DATC, REFER to Climate Control DATC . No GO to AG3. - AG3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the PCM KOEO self-test.
Are any ambient temperature sensor DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - SYMPTOM CHARTS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The condition may have been caused by a heat soak concern.
