PINPOINT TEST AO : The Turn Signal On Warning Chime Is Inoperative

  1. AO1 CHECK THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME OPERATION

    • Ignition OFF.
    • Ignition ON.
    • Monitor the safety belt warning chime when the ignition switch is transitioned from OFF to RUN.

    Does the safety belt warning chime operate for approximately 6 seconds? 

    Yes  GO to  AO2.
    No  Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .

  2. AO2 CHECK THE TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR OPERATION

    • Operate the turn signals.

    Do the turn signal indicators operate correctly? 

    Yes  Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .
    No  GO to Pinpoint Test P .
