PINPOINT TEST CJ : The All Terrain Display Is Never or Always Displayed
- CJ1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No GO to CJ2. - CJ2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE ATCM SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the ATCM self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
Yes REFER to Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Systems . No GO to CJ3. - CJ3 CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
- On the optional IPC, in the display mode menu, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right to display the AWD gauge.
- On the base IPC, in the Information display mode, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the AWD gauge.
Does the all terrain indicator display next to the AWD gauge?
Yes The all terrain display is operating correctly at this time. The display was not set to the correct display mode. No Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .
