Speaker - D-Pillar: Removal

1.

Position aside the liftgate weatherstrip.

NOTE: To avoid damage to the liftgate scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the liftgate scuff plate trim panel before installing.

Remove the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.
- Pull upward to release the retaining clips.

Remove the rear door scuff plate trim panel.
- Pull upward on the scuff plate trim panel to release the retaining clips.

Remove the quarter trim panel retaining push pin.

Position the second row seat in the flat position and then tilt the second row seat forward.

Position the third row seat in the flat position.

7.

Remove the cargo retaining hooks.

NOTE: To avoid damage to the quarter trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the quarter trim panel before installing.

Position the quarter trim panel aside.
- Pull the quarter trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to release the retaining clips.

Position aside the D-pillar.
- Remove the D-pillar trim panel bolt.
- Pull outward on the D-pillar to release the clips.
- Disconnect the D-pillar speaker connector.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

10.

Remove the D-pillar speaker.
