Audio Input Jack: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to SERVICE INFORMATION .

1.

All vehicles except police. Remove the LH and RH finish panel. REFER to Instrument Panel and Console

2.

Pull the LH and RH floor console side trim panels outward to release the top 3 retaining clips. REFER to Instrument Panel and Console

3.

Position the armrest latch trim panel aside.

  pull upward to release the 2 clips.

4.

Remove the screw for the console upper finish panel.

5.

Position the floor console selector lever to the full rearward position.

6.

Position aside the console upper finish panel from the floor console.

  Pull upward to release the clips starting at the rear and working forward.

7.

Open the floor console finish panel bin door.

8.

Police vehicles only. Remove the audio input jack bezel.
1. 1.
  
  Disconnect the audio input jack electrical connectors.
1. 2.
  
  Remove the audio input jack from the bezel.

All vehicles except police. Remove the audio input jack bezel.

  Disconnect the audio input jack electrical connector.

  Remove the audio input jack from the bezel.
