PINPOINT TEST B : Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Does Not Provide Driver Feedback When Activated
- B1 CHECK THE PSCM FOR DTCs
- Using a scan tool, perform the PSCM self-test.
Are any PSCM DTCs received?
Yes REFER to Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) System . No GO to B2. - B2 CHECK THE Image Processing Module - A (IPM-A) FOR DTCs
- Using a scan tool, perform the Image Processing Module - A (IPM-A) self-test.
Are any Image Processing Module - A (IPM-A) DTCs received?
Yes REFER to Rear View Mirrors . No GO to B3. - B3 CHECK FOR CORRECT PSCM OPERATION
- Disconnect and inspect the PSCM connectors.
- Repair:
- corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
- damaged pins - install new terminals/pins
- pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
- Reconnect the PSCM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.
- Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
Is the concern still present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable TSBs. If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW TSB instructions. If no TSBs address this concern, INSTALL a new PSCM. REFER to Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) System . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
