PINPOINT TEST K : An Individual Button/Feature Is Inoperative From The RKE Transmitter: Notes
NOTE:
The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) module may also be known as the Radio Transceiver Module (RTM).
Normal Operations and Fault Conditions
The RKE transmitter in the Intelligent Access (IA) key sends a radio signal to the TPM module based on the user selected RKE transmitter button. The TPM module then communicates the command to the RFA module, and the RFA module carries out the selected action.
Upon a request to lock/unlock the doors, the RFA module controls the door lock actuators. Upon a request to open/close the power liftgate, the RFA module sends a network message to the LTM over the MS-CAN. Upon a panic alarm request, the RFA module sends a network message to the BCM over the MS-CAN to activate the turn signals and horn.
