Pinpoint Test DK : U023A:00
- DK1 VERIFY THE CUSTOMER CONCERN
- Ignition ON.
- Verify there is an observable symptom present.
Is an observable symptom present?
Yes GO to DK2. No The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition. - DK2 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
- Ignition ON.
- Using a scan tool, perform a network test.
- Carry out the network test.
Does the Image Processing Module - A (IPM-A) pass the network test?
Yes GO to DK3. No REFER to Module Communications Network . - DK3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Is DTC U3003:16 or DTC U3003:17 recorded?
Yes For DTC U3003:16, GO to Pinpoint Test BD . For DTC U3003:17, GO to Pinpoint Test BE . No GO to DK4. - DK4 RECHECK THE IPC DTCs
- Clear the DTCs.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Repeat the IPC self-test.
Is DTC U023A:00 still present?
Yes INSTALL a new interior auto-dimming mirror. REFER to Rear View Mirrors . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U023A:00 is still present, Refer to IPC Hardware Testing . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
