Console - Front, Floor: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS

1.

Apply the parking brake.

2.

Place the selector lever to the full rearward position.

3.

Position the front seats fully rearward and fully reclined.

4.

Remove the LH and the RH front floor console side trim panels.

  Pull outward to release the retainers.

5.

Disconnect the shifter cable from the selector lever.

Disconnect the shifter cable from the front floor console bracket.

7.

Disconnect the front floor console bulkhead electrical connector, the USB cable and if equipped, the 110V power outlet connector from the side of the console.

8.

Detach the LH and the Right Hand (RH) carpet push pins from the front floor console.

9.

Remove the 8 console bolts.
1. 1.
  
  To install, tighten to 5.4 Nm (48 lb-in).

Remove the floor console.

11.

Police vehicles only. Remove the lower instrument panel side panels.

NOTE: Seats shown in illustration, removed for clarity.

Police vehicles only. Remove the 8 front console plate bolts and remove the front console plate.

  To install, tighten to 5.4 Nm (48 lb-in).
