Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
Refer to Information and Entertainment System - Premium Plus , Navigation and GPSM.
Removal of the map data card results in loss of navigation while the card is removed. This is normal operation.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Verify the key is in the ON position (navigation function may be limited in accessory mode on some vehicles).
- Inspect to make sure that the navigation Secure Digital (SD) card is present and fully seated in the Secure Digital (SD) card slot.
- Make sure the vehicle is located in a clear, open area to ensure the satellite information can be received by the vehicle.
