Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
Refer to Information and Entertainment System - Sony ® Sound , Navigation.
Removal of the navigation Secure Digital (SD) card results in loss of navigation while the card is removed. This is normal operation.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Possible Sources
- Media hub
- Map data Secure Digital (SD) card not present, not fully seated or damaged
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Verify the key is in the ON position (navigation function may be limited in accessory mode on some vehicles).
- Inspect to make sure that the navigation Secure Digital (SD) card is present and fully seated in the Secure Digital (SD) card slot.
- Make sure the vehicle is located in a clear, open area to ensure the satellite information can be received by the vehicle.
