Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The IPM-A continuously monitors the camera windshield defrost heater circuit current draw to determine if a short to ground or open exists. When a short to ground or open is detected, the IPM-A stores DTC B12D8:11 or B12D8:13 in memory and disables the automatic high beam feature.

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
