Component Description
Power Release Seat Motor
The power fold seat motors contain internal switching that operate the motor until it moves to the reset position and turns off. The power fold seat motor inputs contain the following circuits:
- Battery voltage (high current circuit to operate the motor)
- Ground (circuit provides ground for motor operation as well as logic of the integral electronics within the motor)
- Seat control switch input (when the seat control switch is activated, ignition voltage is present on this circuit)
Heated Seat Module
The heated seats are controlled by the heated seat module located under the RH seat cushion. The heated seat module does not report DTCs and does not communicate on any network.
Backrest Heater Mat
The backrest heater mat wiring pigtail is connected in series to the cushion heater mat. New backrest foam must be installed when installing a new backrest heater mat. The backrest foam should not be reused.
Cushion Heater Mat
